Earlier today I posted that Walgreens has the Off! Clip-on Mosquito Repellent Kit for only $1.50 each. I just realized that Target can beat that price at only $.99 each!
{Scenario}
Buy (2) Off! Mosquito Repellent Kits – $7.99 ($15.98)
Use BOGO FREE Off! Clip-On Mosquito Repellent Starter Coupon

  1. I tried this deal today, could not get it exactly like this. They wouldn't honor the $2 target coupon on the free item so it ended up costing me $2 each plus tax.
    Should they have honored the $2 on the free item?

  2. Yes :) I ALWAYS have whatever store I am shopping at, their coupon policy with me. It just saves me time- also ask for a manager. Targets coupon policy says:

    • Target accepts one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon for the same item (unless prohibited)

    I did have to explain to the manager when I was doing this deal as well. I very sweetly and calmly put one Target coupon on-top of one Off and then the other Target coupon on-top of the second Off- then did the same with my other two manufactured coupons. She said "But you are getting one for free, why do you need that $2 off coupons"- I explained that their policy says:
    We'll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.

    • We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.

    I explained that I am not going to be given cash back- just then another manager walked over and asked what the problem was- I explained again, he looked at the lady and 'whispered' "It does not matter if it makes one item free, we still get reimbursed for the manufactures coupons ether way"-

    Target should accept their own coupons. Then the manufacture coupon is a form of payment. Target get that money back from the manufactures coupon.
    Hope that helped! Let me know if you have any more questions ;)
