Printable Coupons

When I first started couponing I had no idea how many different ways you could get coupons. One easy way is printing coupons online.

Make sure you print your coupons in color-
Yes, it does cost a little bit more to print in color, however the marks made to identify the coupon is valid is very easy when done in color. You can use 'fast draft' to help save on ink.

Make sure your printer has ink-
All legitimate printable coupons have watermarks on them. If your ink is almost out the watermark does not print on the coupon.

Make sure you print from reputable sites-
Some of the main sites to print coupons are: Coupons.com, Red Plum, and SmartSource. There are several other great companies out there as well with a good amount of printable coupons, CoolSavings.Com and GroceryNetwork.com. Before you print off your coupons make sure the coupons has a bar code, watermark behind the amount, an expiration date, usage instructions, logo or picture of product and retailer instructions. Most FREE coupons will be sent to you in the mail or in the Sunday newspaper. I have never seen a FREE printable coupon. If the logo looks fuzzy or you can not find contact information on the sire you are printing from it is most likely fraudulent.

Print Limits-
All printable coupons have print limits-per guest and in total. Most site will allow your computer to print two of the same coupon and then you will see a message like "you have exceeded your limit' or 'this coupon is no longer available'. When the print limit has been reached for the total you will no longer be able to find the coupon. I know how frustrating that can be, you read about a good deal- go to print the coupon and you can not find it on the site.
I do not recommend printing every printable coupon that you see! Most have expiration dates of about a month after printing. However, if there is a high value coupons and you will use it, print it when you see it. If you see a post from me that has a good deal with a printable coupon, print the coupon right away before the total limit is reached.
