From Fat to Fit!
I was recently sent the book From Fat to Fit- Turn yourself into a weapon of Mass Reduction by Carole Carson.
Of course I do my best to help myself and my family to be healthy.
However with the high cost of organic foods and gym memberships or personal trainer I think most of us just do the best we can do. One interesting point Carole made in 'Week 5' Counting the Cost- was that over the long run paying for ways for you to be healthy is going to cost you less then paying for everything you will have to from being unhealthy.
Carole Carson's book was such a easy read. I love pictures (you know this if you have ever been to one of my classes :) and she has pictures throughout her book. It made me feel like I was really getting to know her and see what she was writing about.
From Fat to Fit is for all of us. So many times I read a book on nutrition or a healthy lifestyle and I feel that I need to be a doctor to understand what is being said. Not with From Fat to Fit. In this book you will find very clear and right to the point information. The information you are getting is told though stories and Carole's personal experiences.
I wont be going out and hiring a personal trainer however Carol Carson's book opened my eyes to a new way of thinking about being healthy. I will be making some changes for me and my family. This book was filled with great information and motivation stories!
You can purchase From Fat to Fit: Turn Yourself into a Weapon of Mass Reduction on Amazon for just $11.21!

Thanks for a lovely review of my book. For most of us, it's a real challenge to eat healthy and stay within our budget--your site makes the task easier and more fun.
ReplyDeleteBest,

PS: And I appreciate your site. Since I love to cook (and feed lots of people), I'm always interested in bargains.
