I went to Smith’s this week to do my shopping.

I had to buy a lot of things that were not on the list and I did not have coupons for- however I am still pleased with the savings!

This is typically cereal that I don't buy because my kids (and husband) love it and it is not the best for us.

However with Christmas coming up....

My son has 23 kids in his pre-school class and my foster son has 12.

I was able to get 28 boxes of cereal.

(I also got 6 boxes of fruit snacks, 4 yogurts, 1 ranch and 1syrup.)

Is what I am going to do is let my two boys take them for 

Christmas gifts (if they last that long :)

I have a few more boxes of Trix that I moved into a separate pile to save for Christmas.

Now I am giving them something that the kids can really use (last year I got them these cute toys but I am sure not one kid keep them a week) and the parents will think is really cool too.

Is how it breaks down is that I got each kid in their class a gift for about $0.87!

Not to bad to have Christmas gifts that they will not be getting from anyone else for under $1.00 a kid!

Toys R Us was having a great sale on Crayola- Buy One Get One Free plus when you spend $9.99 on Crayola product you get the Crayola Surge Deluxe for Free. I did two transactions- I also had 2 $2.00 off any Crayola product coupons ( I got them from writing Crayola when two of the three new boxes of crayons I bought broke without very much pressure).  I used the Free Snikiddy Product Coupon here for the two bags of chips. They are having the Crayola sale today and Saturday. There were many more great sales there as well. Defiantly worth going and checking out!

I was not even going to go to Toys R Us- however I told my kids if they were good at the babysitters we could go there and they could play with the big Thomas the Train display.

I had to go pee really bad walking into the store and I grabbed my coupon binder on mistake.

I am glad I did. I thought I had a gift card so while my kids played I looked in my coupon binder to see if I did... I had one for $10 off $10 purchase.

I found some other coupons that I had been mailed along with the $10 off gift card.

I had a coupon for 50% off birthday stuff & they had buy any Play Duh set for $15 and get Octopus set for Free! I had a $2 off Play Duh coupon that was sent to me with a sample a few months ago..

They also had the Cars Skates (that my son is wearing- and currently sleeping in as I type this :)

on sale for $19.95.

Not planning on spending anything I sure found a way too... I feel ok about it though- I got both of my kids Birthday Part Stuff for 50% off! I would have bought it with or with out a coupon- so I am glad I got a great deal on it!
